Kathleen Burgoon Okonowicz is a signature member of Baltimore Watercolor Society. She has exhibited her work innumerous shows in Maryland and Delaware and her art hangs in private collections throughout the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond. Her art also is featured on the covers of eight of her husband’s books. She has published three full-color, limited edition prints that capture scenes with a Delaware historical interest—including historic structures and individuals. A graduate of Salisbury State University, Kathleen earned her master's degree in professional writing from Towson State University. Originally from Greenbelt, Maryland, she studied art in high school and college. In 1986, she renewed her interest in painting while working as director for the Cecil County Arts Council.
